PLAY BALL!!

On May 15 the Salt Lake Bees are hosting Days Inn employees for their appreciation night. Connor's Uncle Steve is a big wig for the parent company of Days Inn, Wyndham Hotels. Steve was asked to throw out the first pitch on the 15th. Steve hasn't thrown a baseball in years so he didn't want to embarass himself by bouncing a pitch to the catcher so he pulled a few strings and now, Connor is scheduled to throw out the first pitch at the Bees game on May 15. What an opportunity for Connor!! The proudest moment was when Steve told Connor he had to do it while wearing a Derek Jeter jersey. As great of an opportunity as this is, he declined because he wouldn't wear the jersey. It brought me to tears I was so proud.

We're all hopeful Spring will have arrived by then and a game will actually be played.
